Psychotherapy

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY:

A therapeutic relationship provides a safe haven where you can talk about the areas of your life that are causing you distress. Often the source of discomfort comes from patterns adopted early in life as a way to cope. While these patterns may have once been useful, even essential, they may now feel like impediments to feeling fully alive, authentic and engaged with others in your life. We can examine these patterns together, notice how they show up in your relationship with others and with yourself, and explore new ways of being in the world. Together we can uncover the difficult thoughts, emotions, physical issues and behaviors that cause you suffering, and develop new ways to manage them so they don’t feel so overwhelming. People come to therapy for many different reasons. Here are a few areas that I can help you with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • General Dissatisfaction
  • Self-Esteem
  • Relationship Distress
